As a concerned Canadian, this month I have to take the initiative and say something about garbage.  As you can tell from the pictures, there are a lot of people who really don't care about where they throw their garbage.

The opener this year was a lot better for most than last year, from the reports I received back from the fisher people who came into the store. My older brother and I got out on the following Monday and did fantastic. We found most of our fish at the front of Muscote Bay and the west end of Big Island. There were huge fish catches that went on in front of the Napanee River and fisher people in that area were reporting of 20-to-30-fish days; nothing huge, but anywhere from one to four pounds. A few local guys were fishing from shore on the Moria River just before and after dark and did great. This went on for three weeks after the opener. They were catching fish from 2 lbs. up to 8lbs. Since then, the fishing has been far from a few.
